Taking Pictures

I am not very good at remembering to take pictures. I take my camera everywhere, but I just can not remember to actually take them.

I did manage to take one picture of her in her Christmas dress. I know that others took plenty of pictures, but I will have to upload those later.

Oh by the way, another reason why I didn't take so many is because we had RSV over Christmas, so we were not able to go any where...but we are doing so much better now.

Gas, Colic or Spoiled Rotten

I took this picture last night around 11:45 when Bella Vance decided she would go to sleep. She has been up all day long with gas pains or colic. I really have no idea what is wrong with her. It could be that she LOVES to be held and rocked to sleep. So to make a long story short, this is the only way that we could get her to close those eyes.

Happy Birthday to ME!!

Well, my birthday was actually yesterday, but I am just now getting around to posting some pictues. I had a really great day. David told me all day that I was antique now (when cars are 25 years old, you can get them an "antique"tag). So, above is a picture of the BEST cake that I have ever had. As I was going to the grocery store the other day, I thought I would just pick up a cake, needless to say, David said to pick out the cake that I wanted and he would bake it for me. So I was looking and I picked out a yellow cake with chocolate icing and I did look at some candles but thought, Oh I don't need those. Well, David baked this cake all by himself...he impressed me so much. He even knew to put a toothpick in the center to see if it was done. Well, you would know that he asked where the candles were.....and since we didn't have any, he used his imagination and this was the best birthday cake.

Thank you David for the cake....it was so so good :) You are the best husband anyone could ask for!!

This is one PROUD Daddy :)

Most people didn't realize, but I am sure they thought David and the NICU nurse were in a hurry to get Bella Vance to the nursery, but they were! When she came, she was not breathing right. She was "grunting" and that is not what the nurses wanted to hear. We already knew she was going to have to be suctioned really well because she had a bowel movement in utero, so as I was laying there; I knew they were working with her to get her to breathe and I really was not that worried. The NICU nurse told me as they were walking out that they may have to take her to the NICU and I just remember looking at her telling her that "she is going to be okay because I KNOW who hands she is in." When David came back I asked him if she had to go to the NICU and he told me that she was perfectly fine and she was in the nursery. Praise the Lord!! So to make a long story short that is why they were in a hurry!

David also said it looked as if the paparazzi were there to take pictures of her!
